[The Forestry and Railway Museum] was so interesting. One of most fun and interactive museum experience I ever had. Special thanks two workers who despite rainy weather go through every piece they have and show us how everything worked with so interesting historic story about Canadian rails.

This family-friendly museum [The Exploration Place] offers exhibits on science, wildlife, culture, and heritage. While the museum is designed to appeal to kids, adults can enjoy it as well. One exhibit I particularly liked was Spirit Bear, which describes in story form how children from all groups stand with First Nations to improve the services for Indigenous children.

We visited the BC Rail & Forestry museum with our kids. The boys especially were thrilled to see the authentic trains and the Turn table. The site has buildings as well, of days gone by, of train depots, work shacks, equipment shacks. All of which are furnished with furniture and items from that era. Quite enchanting.

Such a beautiful park [Cottonwood Nature Park]! This is a lovely place for a walk. Make sure to bring bird seed and hold it out in your hands, birds will land right in your palm! It’s a bit muddy in the spring, but still fun in all seasons. Look for the carvings in the trees!

Give yourself time here [The Exploration Place] all our five kids loved it ages 3-14. Great on a rainy or too hot day. Toddler friendly and ASD toddler friendly.

Probably the best meal I have had in PG [Betulla Burning}. The pizza was amazing! They also have kids options that were crowd pleasers!
