Prince George Public Library in the Keith Gordon room at the Bob Harkins branch downtown
Here’s an opportunity to go shopping in someone else’s “stash” of yarn, etc. Your currency for purchases will be the yarn, books, patterns, tools and other yarn-related goodies you trade in or by donation
This event is open to the public and entry is free
How it Works
If you bring yarn, you can swap it for an equal amount of yarn or supplies. If you didn’t bring yarn, you can still get yarn or supplies by donation. Donations will be split between PG public library and GNWFF
Yarn and supplies can be dropped off at the library the week before or bring them with you when you come. Please place each skein or bundle in a plastic resealable bag to reduce exposure to any allergens. Full or partial skeins with a label or note describing yarn (fibre, weight etc. are welcomed). Please no scrap yarn. Fibre-craft related supplies such as knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn bowls, stitch markers, row counters etc. will also be accepted. All that remains will be donated to local charities that can put the items to good use.
