Weathering Wildfires Exhibit @ Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum

In recent years, campfire bans, evacuation alerts, and smoky skies have become a staple of summer here in British Columbia, across Canada, and around the world.

Weathering Wildfires offers an interactive learning experience about British Columbia’s fire practices of years past. Including old-school fire fighting equipment, a small-scale fire lookout tower, and Smokey the Bear mascot. this exhibit provides insight into managing our present wildfire dilemmas.
