Vermicomposting 101
Saturday August 10, 2019  |  3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
REAPS, 1950 Gorse Street

Vermicomposting is the process of using worms to convert kitchen waste into a rich soil supplement. With the help of some red wiggler worms, you can transform your vegetable waste into fertilizer for your plants. Vermicomposting is a great way to reduce the amount of waste sent to a landfill and the end product can offset or eliminate the amount of potting soil you buy for your garden.

Learn how to build, care and enjoy composting with red wigglers!

Great for indoors or outdoors during the spring and summer months.
