For the first time in league history, the Fred Page Cup Finals in the Chevrolet BCHL Playoffs will feature a matchup of the Vernon Vipers and the Prince George Spruce Kings.

The BCHL champion advances to the best-of-seven Doyle Cup against the AJHL winner. That series is slated to begin in Alberta on April 26.

No experience is necessary and all equipment including sports wheelchairs are available.

In this full-contact sport, athletes play in tank-like wheelchairs and hit each others' chairs in an attempt to carry a ball across the line.

This is not a “mainstream” physical activity yoga class. For 6 weeks, Kelly Stone is hosting an intellectual/psychological integration of Bhakti Yoga or Devotion Yoga into various aspects of your life. Using guided meditation, journaling, and movement, this class will help you identify imbalance, set intentions or goals, and trust of individual guidance.
Essentially, Bhakti yoga is the cultivation of unconditional spiritual love. Change your mind, change your life. Wake up your intuitive body, know your weakness, set your intentions, and live the life you truly desire.

Bring curiosity and possibilities to this class, appropriate for every level of student.

Kelly has extensive study in Psychology BSC. HON. (specializing in PTSD), MSc.(c) (specializing in environmental/social PSYC), RPC-applied psychology and counselling, Mindful Self Compassion, Certification as Wholistic and Natural Health Practitioner, various lineages of yoga [Tantra (200h), Modo (700h), Yin], 3 completed courses in Vipassana Meditation, and self-study through yoga for over 20 years.

Queer Indoor Rock Climbing

Many people in our community asked for more LGBTQIA+ events. We heard you and we are ready to rock.

Queer indoor rock climbing is here!

Tickets are only $18+ tax including your rentals. Pay at the Climbing gym upon arrival and be sure to arrive a little early if you have not completed a waiver online (link below).

**No experience necessary** Staff will be on hand to belay for our group and show us how to use the equipment safely. This is your opportunity to learn how to climb in a queer-friendly space.

This event will take place right after our regularly scheduled queer cafe meets up. Be sure to connect with us at Cafe Voltaire between 5pm-6:30pm if you want to meet more people.

We will be planning many different kinds of events in the future, so if climbing is not in your Repertoire, please stay tuned.

Parental permission is required for the under 19 crowd.

Join us for a fun filled Family Yoga Series! Family Yoga is a great way for parents and kids to be able to do yoga together! These classes will include yoga poses, partner poses, stories, breathing techniques and lots of fun, all while strengthening bonds between family members, as well as, building confidence, self-esteem, and strong healthy bodies! Families come in all different shapes and sizes so bring your niece, nephew, grandchildren or whomever you would like!
Minimum age is 4 and there must be an adult in attendance to accompany children under the age of 16.

FAQs

1. What should I bring?
A water bottle and comfortable (but not loose) clothing is recommended. All equipment needed will be provided for you!

2. Where can I buy my tickets?
You can purchase tickets in person at the Yoga PG studio or at our sister company, Krell Wellness Center. If you prefer to book online, please visit our website www.yogaprincegeorge.com.

3. How do I buy tickets for my family?
One parent or guardian can purchase the ticket for the whole family. Just select family of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6, depending on how many are attending and choose which dates you are joining. Once you have purchase the ticket, please contact the studio with the names of the family members attending so our front desk staff can add them to the roster.

4. How much is the series?

5. Is there a minimum age?
Yes, the minimum age is 4 and there must be an adult in attendance to accompany children under the age of 16

Connect, move, laugh, and relax together in this Mother's Day yoga workshop!

In this workshop, there will be time for reflection, yoga, and plenty of partner poses, a great opportunity to learn some easy and fun ways to relax and deepen the connection with each other. Participants, in addition to the physical yoga practice, will learn progressive relaxation and practice gentle partner assists. This workshop is meant to cultivate connection, build strength, trust, and confidence and celebrate all bodies, shapes, and capabilities.

Beat the Bugs - Trail Race

Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, 8141 Otway Road

The Beat the Bugs race is a 5 and 10 kilometre trail race at scenic Otway Nordic Centre, located a ten minute drive west of town. The PGRR event utilizes both cross-country ski and single track trails to take runners all over the Otway trail system. In addition, the course changes every year in order to keep the event fresh and exciting for the many new and returning runners.This event also offers a free 1K kids race .

5K Race is $20 or free for PGRR Members
10K Race is $20 or free for PGRR Members

As the course changes every year, the plan is to have the new course maps available by early to mid-May.

Huble Homestead Historic Site , 15 000 Mitchell Road

Round up the troops for an exciting search in the great outdoors!
This fun and inexpensive day will have you exploring the homestead with the entire family as you all work together to find all the items on a scavenger hunt list! However, the list doesn’t just have things to find – there are also a number of tasks your group will have to complete before our staff will declare you finished!

Pack a lunch, or purchase one from the BBQ, and spend a few hours of your Saturday at the homestead working at your own pace to complete the challenge!

Huble Homestead Historic Site is a 30 minute drive north of Prince George, BC. Leave the city behind, and make your way up Highway 97, before turning off on Mitchell Road to continue another 6 kilometres down a well-maintained dirt road.

Huble Homestead is dog friendly and open daily for guided tours and shopping in the General Store. Enjoy a picnic or purchase lunch from the BBQ as you relax in the fresh air. Admission is by donation, with a recommended amount of $10.00 per family.

It will combine the highest level of on-ice superstar talent with an ever-evolving touring production.
