This series includes three 1.5 hr classes designed to get the heart pumping, muscles burning and smile lifting.

We’ll be flowing through a series of strength exercises that target each area of the body, incorporating alignment cuing and breathwork to make the most of your time on the mat. Ending with a thorough stretch and a savanna, these classes will be sure to get you out of your head and into your body.

Yin Yoga and Acupuncture Workshop

Join us and gear up for a Spring Transformation. This unique workshop combines Yin Yoga with traditional Acupuncture. Slow paced yoga shapes focused on movement of blocked Qi, activation of blood, clearing heat and detoxification are complemented with the healing art of acupuncture. First, you will prepare your body to deeply relax in the most comfortable Savasana. From this meditative state, the profound and powerful experience of acupuncture will leave you feeling restored and ready to launch into Spring. No previous yoga or acupuncture experience is required. The only thing you need is comfortable loose fitting clothes and an intention for this coming Spring.

Spaces are limited due to the time requirement for each person.

Singles Speed Date Yoga Night

Just like regular speed dating, Yoga Speed Dating allows you to meet several people in a short amount of time, giving you just enough time to make and take a first impression.

There's only one place where you can get away with asking a stranger about his or her favourite position - and that's on a yoga mat. All jokes aside, it can be difficult to find quality people to date. For those who prefer quiet nights in the studio to rowdy nights at the bar, dating can be quite challenging. Yoga attracts like-minded, fit, fun loving people, but the silent structure of regular classes is not exactly the best way to connect with each other. This workshop is designed to creatively share a few minutes with someone new; get to know those single people in our community, and have a great time! Obviously you both already like yoga and are ready to make new friends. This is the perfect way to begin a great friendship or meet the partner of your dreams. All gender roles aside, these sequences are specially planned to be non-invasive and are geared towards yogis of any gender or level. Practice with a yoga partner mirrors much of what we are all looking for in a life partner - support, balance, and living in the moment. Back to Basics Workshop

Kick of the month of May by coming back to the basics of your asana practice. This is an opportunity to fine tune the body’s alignment through precise verbal cuing & assists. We’ll be reviewing exactly where each part of your body should be placed & what muscles should be engaged as we cover some of your favourite asanas. We’ll then practice these poses in a fun, strength building flow. Proper alignment can help you deepen your practice, improve flexibility & build strength, allowing you to transition from asana to asana in a safe & effective way. The intention of this workshop is to leave you feeling confident in your practice moving forward.

learn how to create a conscious “switch” in the body that will shut down the “Fight or Flight” response & stimulate “Rest & Digest” response
learn simple breathing techniques that you can start using immediately.

An introductory Yin Yoga Teacher Training touches on a variety of topics. This course includes theory and practice of Yin Yoga, anatomy and physiology, and tools to teach a safe and effective Yin Yoga classes.
