Rube & Rake engage audiences with a mixture of stories, intricate guitar work, and rich vocal harmonies. After working together for the past 6 years out of St. John’s, NL, Josh Sandu and Andrew Laite have fused an intimate musical connection that comes across in every new song and performance.

ECMA 2022 Songwriter of the Year and 2020 Music NL Folk/Roots Artist of the Year awardwinners, Rube & Rake’s music is an exercise in creating something beyond the sum of their parts.

A staple of the Prince George music scene, Nathan Kelly’s work has touched on everything from indie-tinged folk to brain rattling psych sludge & beyond. His sparse solo acoustic performances draw from the many corners of his songwriting journey, re-contextualizing familiar works as well as exploring rarely performed songs both new and from deep in his catalog.
