Over one hundred years ago, on the banks of the Fraser River, Annie Huble grew acres and acres of potatoes which she sold to travelers passing through the area. Today that tradition continues at Huble Homestead, where you can learn all about the heirloom potato varieties grown on site, see the garden where they were produced, and purchase your own to sample at home!
Celebrate the mighty spud at Huble Homestead with games and crafts, music, tours, and demonstrations. Come early to buy heirloom potatoes, carrots, beets, and garlic from the Huble garden!
Watch and take part in heritage demonstrations such as ice cream making both days! Kick back and relax to music, than revert back to your childhood by taking part in potato sack races, Hot Potato, or the potato and spoon race, and try your hand at potato stamping!
Play one of our popular lawn games, try out the stilts, and treat yourself to a fresh piece of pie in the General Store! The BBQ will be serving a pancake breakfast from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, burgers and hot dogs will be on the menu. In addition to our regular menu, we’ll also be featuring a potato-ey menu. pancakes! Peruse the General Store and take 10% off all items!
