Homestead Days

The Portage Game: Check in at the General Store to take on the role of an explorer, guide, homesteader, or prospector, and receive a list of items to find around the homestead! Once you have found the locations of the items, collect them all, and make your way back to the store to trade them in for a prize!​

Homestead Days: Step back in time to Prince George’s past with Homestead Days. All long weekend from 10:00 to 5:00 get your hands on history with self-led activities, guided tours, old-fashioned craft kits, and physically distanced games. Bring a picnic or order lunch at the barbeque, and enjoy live music and wide open spaces as you explore the park!
