Danny Bell and His Disappointments will be ending their tour around BC and Alberta with a hometown show. They’ll be joined by Big Fancy and The Shiddy Stringdusters.
Danny Bell and His Disappointments play accordion-led folk/country/punk tunes with infections charm. Based in British Columbia on unceded Lhedli T’enneh territory, Danny’s music is regional. It’s steeped in his affection for his home in the hinterland, a blue collar town, the stink of the pulp mill, and everyday life in Northern BC. Bell’s songs toe the line between tragedy and comedy. Big Fancy and the Shiddy Stringdusters:
Invoking the masters of Old-Time Country, Big Fancy roams the land, a true troubadour moonshiner with a sharp wit and love-lorn voice. Big Fancy will be joined by Woody Forster of The Burying Ground and Liam McIvor on lap steel.
