COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) UPDATE: SEE DETAILS
Compost returns valuable nutrients to the soil to help maintain soil quality and fertility. Compost improves plant growth and lead to better yields.
Food waste and yard / garden waste together currently make up more than 28 percent of what we throw away, and should be composted instead. Making compost keeps these materials out of landfills where they take up space and release methane, a potent greenhouse gas.
Workshops are FREE and drop in.
