It’s About Time! – A KinderConcert
Saturday October 5, 2019  |  2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Prince George Playhouse, 2833 Recreation Place

Saturday, October 5, 2019 ∗ PG Playhouse ∗ 2:00 pm

In the upcoming Kinder Concert, we are going to explore time in music. This will be a very interactive concert. Boys and girls will have the opportunity to measure note lengths in our music, and set up note patterns for the musicians to follow. They will be exposed to a variety of music styles and periods in an atmosphere of fun and games, and will gain an understanding of how various instruments sound and contribute to musical pieces.

Jon Neufeld of Starfield: The Church Family Reunion Tour
Saturday October 5, 2019  |  7:00 PM - 9:30 PM
First Baptist Church, 483 Gillett Street

Introducing The Church Family Reunion concert series! This concert series sees one of North America’s pre-eminent worship leaders bringing songs you know and love to your community. It's different every time around, but one thing stays the same: it's an opportunity for everyone, all denominations and all generations, to come together in worship.
Gather the family and join us this fall for the first iteration: an evening with Jon Neufeld of Starfield! Jon is a Covenant Award-winning, JUNO nominated artist and writer of many of the popular worship songs sung weekly in churches across Canada. As a founding member of contemporary worship band Starfield, he’s been leading worship for over 20 years. With a full band behind him, Jon promises a night of uplifting worship and a reminder of the freedom people have in Jesus.

It will involve a shuttle between the starting point on Highway 16 and the finishing point on Loos Road. (Feel free to bring along some extra clothing and so on to store in the end-of-trail vehicle).

Theatre Northwest, #36 - 556 North Nechako Rd

For the past 15 years or so, Jewish-Canadian accordion player/singer-songwriter/novelist Geoff Berner has travelled the world. He’s played in bars, cafes, festivals, and the occasional stadium. He’s performed in 17 countries, on national radio in 7 of them.

All over Canada, Europe, and America, Berner has garnered a sizable, passionate following of odd, bookish people who like to drink. He packs venues in places like Berlin, London, Oslo, Zurich, Seattle, Toronto, Edmonton and his home city of Vancouver.

With a new album, new book and upcoming tours of Canada, continental Europe, the Pacific northwest of the U.S., and Scandinavia, Berner is officially on a roll.
