The BC Government has started relaxing COVID-19 restrictions, allowing people to gather in groups of up to six and at events of up to 50 while following physical distancing measures. Many events are still being held online, but there are some new in-person options to look forward to in June that weren’t possible in previous months. Discover some ways to make sure you have a fun June by reading our event wrap up that we put together in partnership with Tourism Prince George.
Father’s Day Cruise for a Cause
The Prince George Cruisin’ Classics has cancelled the 2020 Father’s Day Show-n-Shine, but never fear classic vehicle lovers! The club is hosting the Father’s Day Cruise for a Cause in its place. Participants of previous Father’s Day Show-n-Shines will gather at the CN Centre parking lot before setting out on a 50-70 km drive around the city so people can safely enjoy looking at their favourite classic vehicles. Organizers have consulted with the BC Health Authority and the City of Prince George to ensure the parade adheres to mass gathering and physical distancing requirements. Each participant will be asked to make a cash donation to the Salvation Army Food Bank in any amount they can afford.
Date: June 21, 2020
Location: See link for parade map
