It’s been a chilly start to February in Prince George but luckily there are plenty of events happening this month to keep you warm, whether you want to huddle indoors and enjoy live entertainment or get outside and be active.
Fun for everyone at Downtown Winterfest
Downtown Winterfest is back! For the third year in a row, Downtown PG has organized a day of outdoor fun for everyone. Bring your hockey stick to join in the road hockey game, watch snow sport demonstrations, try out the ice slide, jump on the Cottonwood Express train and go for a ride, and check out spectacular snow and ice carvings. Make sure to bring your appetite as there’ll be an outdoor food court and a ‘There is S’More Downtown’ contest. Make sure to try all of the s’mores and vote for your favourites! If you’re getting a bit chilly, duck inside the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre to shop at fabulous exhibitors and local merchants taking part in the Winter Market.
