The Prince George self-guided Farm Tour will take visitors on a whirl-wind adventure, where you’ll be able to choose stops that could include anything from u-pick, certified organic produce, historic sights and delicious cuisine and drinks made with local harvest. Wondering where this tour might take you? With 6 exciting spots, places to see on the way, and Farmer’s Markets to get some fresh produce, this tour has it all! Sign up for the Prince George Farm Tour here.

Starting with Foreman Farms and Bloom Cafe! Run by the Northern Lights Estate Winery, this is Prince George’s only Sunflower Festival! It has picturesque props perfect for posting on social media, a petting zoo that captures the hearts of little ones, a cafe and so much more! Keep an eye on their website for their opening date.
On your way: Take a scenic stop to the LC Gunn Regional Park. It is an easy walk with views of the city and the river. Check it out!

Next on the way is Northern Lights Estate Winery itself! With unique fruit orchards along the river and highway, this unique area is a breathtaking stop point during this tour. While you’re there, take some time to taste their award winning wine or enjoy a bite from the bistro to enjoy within the orchards.

Time to smell the flowers at the Wildflower Farm. Family run and full of love for nature, this farm is sure to be one that will melt your heart! Not only does it have a stand right outside the farm for things to purchase, but also farm animals galore. Keep an eye on their page so you don’t miss out on their scheduled workshops!

Let’s get organic with Hope Farm Organics that boasts a variety of local and fresh produce like haskaps, San Marzano tomatoes, Cider apples, and more! Their devotion to conservation, agriculture, and the future, make this spot a true landmark.
On your way: Make a pit stop at Harold Mann Regional Park for a good place to listen to the birds as you enjoy a picnic!

Historically wonderful and next on our list is Huble Homestead Historic Site! This unique piece of land is full of animals, indigenous wild plants, a small garden, and so much more that makes it feel like you step back in time! It is a family friendly site with much to do while you’re there. Keep an eye on their website for events and special guests!
On your way: Goodsir Nature Park has botanical trails, one of a kind museums, and lots of fascinating information and sights!

Last but certainly not least, we have PG Urban Shroomery! This unique stop is the biggest of its kind in Northern BC. With fresh delicious mushrooms, the dried variety, seasonings, and more, this farm will give you something different and worthwhile. Don’t miss them at the Prince George farmers market on Saturday’s 8:30am-2pm.

That’s not all! With this self-guided tour, you can also check out some of our special farmers markets to have some of your very own farm fresh produce, chicken eggs, organic meat, homemade baked goods, and so much more! To name a few we have the Prince George Farmers Market, Wilson’s Square Community Farmers Market, and East Line Farmers Market. For more information on different farmers markets, check out the BC Farmers Market Trail.

We encourage you to take this Self-Guided Tour around PG and check out our brochure for more details.
