World Town Planning Day
Wednesday November 8, 2017  |  5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Omineca Arts Centre, 1119-3rd Avenue

On Wednesday, November 8, the UNBC Student Planners Association would like you to join us in celebrating World Town Planning Day!

World Town Planning Day is an international day celebrating the accomplishments of planners and their contributions to their communities!

What is Planning, you might ask?

Very simply put, ‘Planning’ looks at the past, to make decisions for the present, while considering the needs of the future.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a free guided walking tour in the heart of downtown where members of the Student Planners Association will show how Planning has influenced and shaped the city of Prince George. We’ll follow up with some snacks, refreshments and activities at Omineca Arts Centre where we can discuss and learn more about what it means to ‘Plan’ and the roles that Planners play in our communities!

5:00 pm - Omineca Arts Centre (1119 3rd Avenue, Prince George)
5:30 pm - Walking Tour* (leaving Omineca Arts Centre)
6:30 pm – Return for snacks, refreshments and activities
