Caledonia Ramblers snowshoe or hike
Monday December 25, 2017

The Caledonia Ramblers will be hosting a hike or snowshoe up Pilot Mountain on Christmas Day.
Located 17 kilometres northwest of Prince George, the area usually receives more snow than downtown Prince George.
Participants should consider bringing snowshoes, ice cleats or ice grippers as well as their hiking boots, depending on weather and snow conditions. Traditionally, there is also a Christmas goodies exchange at the summit.
Participants should also bring a day backpack, snacks and/or lunch, sufficient water or perhaps something hot to drink, extra warm clothing, raingear, gaiters and possibly hiking poles.
Meet at the city hall parking lot 10 minutes before the 11 a.m. departure time. The carpool fee is $3.
