Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and some celebrations are starting this weekend!
Keep reading to learn about four Valentine’s Day celebrations happening this weekend and three happening on Valentine’s Day.

 Happening this weekend:

  1. Heart for Hospice: This evening is a fundraiser for the Prince George Hospice Society. Enjoy an evening of delicious food and dancing with DJ Dave Mothus at the Columbus Community Centre. There will also be a photo booth, silent auction and $5 drinks.
    Tickets are $40 a person or $75 per couple. Call 250-563-2551 or stop by the Hospice Society Office (1506 Ferry Ave) for tickets. View the Facebook Event Page for more details.
    Date: Saturday, February 10. Doors open at 6pm and dinner is served at 7pm.

  2. Valentine’s Day Prime Rib Dinner and Dance: Celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early and enjoy a prime rib dinner and dancing at the Hart Crown Banquet Hall. Door prizes will be given away every hour and Whisky Jack Studios is providing a photo booth.
    Tickets are $50 each or $40 each if you buy a table of eight. Call 778-281-3955 or email hcbh101@gmail.com for more information.
    Date: Saturday, February 10. Doors open at 6:00pm.

  3. Valentine’s  Brunch at Northern Lights Estate Winery: Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a casual way by enjoying brunch together. Browse a gourmet menu and enjoy the scenic views of the Nechako River. Reservations aren’t required but are highly recommended. Call 250-564-1112 to make a reservation.   4. Valentine’s Dinner at Northern Lights Estate Winery: Enjoy a lovely meal from a special Valentine’s Day menu while overlooking the Nechako River. Reservations must be made in advance, call 250-564-1112 to save your table. Visit the Winery's website for more information.
    Date: Sunday, February 11 (or February 14). 

Happening on Valentine’s Day:

  2.  Valentine’s Day Dinner at North 54: Chef Dean has created a Four Course Dinner with optional wine pairings to tantalize everyone’s tastebuds. The evening will showcase 12oz AAA Rib Eye Steaks and 8oz Ahi Tuna Steak. View the entire menu on their website. Dinner costs $75 per person. Wine pairings cost $25.

  3.  Party Night Fever – Valentine’s Day at Tandoori Nation Restaurant: Let loose during this party at Tandoori Nation. There will be dinner, games, prizes, dancing, and a DJ playing a mix of Punjabi, Hindi, and English songs. Tickets are $25 a person or $45 per couple.
    Date: Wednesday, February 14 at 7:00pm.
