We Braved the Fraser River Rapids!
This week our staff had the pleasure of heading east to Stellar Descents for a Fraser River white water rafting trip! Dan, Tyler, Ben and Simon were excellent hosts and guides; we went out on the river at a level of 27 to hit some Class I to III+ rapids! If you take this tour, you'll get just under two hours of white water mixed in with a few slower bends and a beautiful viewpoint stop at Rearguard Falls. We all made it safely through the ride without anyone falling out, but we did make Aaron do a front flip off into the water at the end for fun!
For those on the more adventurous side, there is also the Beaver Trip, which is about four hours and gets up to Class IV rapids. Families with small children or those who want to relax can opt to take the Fraser River Scenic Float Trip.
